Support the Museum

Arizona State Railroad Museum Foundation

Arizona State Railroad Museum Foundation serves to support the Museum’s mission for the collection, reservation, interpretation, and exhibition of historic and cultural artifacts relating to the railroad history, development, and heritage of Arizona.

Although partnered with the City of Williams, the Museum and Foundation are separate entities, and not State of Arizona agencies. "State"; refers to the scope of the Museum as statewide and involves interpretation of all seventy-nine of Arizona’s historical railroads and the cultural and ethnic diversity that grew up with and around them.

As with all Museums, we must rely on the generosity of individual and corporate supporters to assist us with fulfillment of our mission. We need and welcome your participation, investment and involvement in this, your Museum. Your support will help us to acquire, restore, interpret and exhibit railroad and cultural artifacts that will serve as the backdrop for the stories of Arizona’s people.

Until the Museum is open to the public, all supporters as listed below will be Founders and retain that designation in perpetuity. We have established several categories that will allow individuals, foundations and corporations to participate in a variety of ways and be recognized for their generosity and involvement. Every opportunity listed below, if underwritten, moves us one step closer to realizing the vision of a world-class museum dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Arizona’s railroads and people.

Naming Opportunities

Significant investors at or above $50,000 will have the opportunity to adopt and name exhibits or spaces within the Museum complex and receive appropriate recognition at these locations for their generosity and involvement. The Museum will contain numerous public spaces, galleries, theaters and exhibits for which donor support is sought. These may include such exhibits or spaces as individual locomotives, specific occupational, cultural or ethnic exhibits, railroad art gallery, archives, or even the Great Hall.

Other Donations

We recognize that generosity comes in all forms and amounts and welcome any and all contributions and donations that will advance the goals of the Foundation and Arizona Railroad Heritage Park.

Donations of railroad artifacts, photographs, documents and art are very much appreciated as they will assist in the Foundation’s mission to preserve Arizona’s incredible railroad history and legacy. These will assist in the education of students and family visitors to the Park and Museum through interactive exhibits and attractions.

As the Foundation is a designated non-profit under IRS Code 501(c)(3) any and all donations may be subject to a tax deduction. Please contact the Arizona State Railroad Museum Foundation for information on the great variety of opportunities and discuss your individual wishes.
